Moscow Metro

The Moscow Metro has 292 km of length in total, 12 lines and 176 stations. In a weekday it carries over 7 million passengers.

The first line was opened on 1935, was 11 km long, and included 13 stations.

At the beginning of the Cold War some very deep stations were built in the case of nuclear war. In the next picture I'm going down to one of these stations (February 2010).

Also be on the Moscow metro is like being in a museum, with statues, paintings, etc.

Moscow Metro is better than Calgary C-trail. First it´s underground, second the Moscow Metro is very clean and organized and at peak hours you have service every minute.

On the Moscow metro people usually have good etiquette, people never smoke, eat or drink. People do not talk by cellphones because they can´t, because the metro is underground.
